As long-time locals, the areas surrounding The Buckland, including Porepunkah and Bright, hold a special place in our hearts.

Dave, a Porepunkah native, has always called this area home. Even after traveling the world, he felt drawn back here.

I, originally from Geelong, met Dave in Bright almost two decades ago while working for a ski company at Mt Hotham.

After spending ten years in Geelong, the allure of Porepunkah brought us back, along with our three children: Elsie (14), Otis (13), and Millie (10).

In 2019, we purchased The Buckland from Sabine and Eddie, who had created something truly magical here. Situated on 40 acres of stunning land, The Buckland is a working farm surrounded by pristine bushland.

With Dave’s plumbing expertise and my background in hospitality and massage therapy, we’re dedicated to ensuring your stay with us is unforgettable.
